Move Up Voucher Program
The Move Up Program supports successful exits from homeless programs in the region. Over time, many people who enter permanent supportive housing, rapid re-housing, or transitional housing programs with intensive service needs gain stability in their housing, health, and relationships. When intensive or site-based services are no longer needed or wanted, moving on can still be difficult due to high housing costs.
The Move Up Program provides a pathway to housing in the community. by creating partnerships between Public Housing Authorities and other affordable housing providers and medium- to long-term homeless housing programs. The Move Up Program supports people who previously experienced homelessness to choose housing based on their current needs, strengths, and desires.
