Committees

Committees are responsible for overseeing and guiding the ongoing tasks of the CoC.  Membership in committees is voluntary and is approved by the CoC membership annually. Current membership of committees is posted on the Leadership page. 

Coordinated Entry

Focus: Support and guide the region's homeless response referral system.

​​Schedule: Bi-monthly on the 3rd Thursday 1-3pm  (Feb/Apr/Jun/Aug/Oct/Dec)

Co-Chairs: Mark Bullen (Brown County), Jordan Boyum (Three Rivers Community Action)

Data & Technical Assistance

Focus: Guide the CoC's needs/gaps analysis, training plans, & Point in Time Count.

Schedule: Monthly on the 4th Tuesday 1-2pm
 
Co-Chairs: Jamie Keuhn (Blue Earth County) and Heather Steinkamp (Olmsted County)

Project Performance & Review

Focus: Lead project review for HUD CoC Local Competition and assist with project reviews for State-funded programs. 

Schedule: Quarterly on the 3rd Thursday 1-3pm ​ (Feb/May/Aug/Nov)

Chair: Tammy Moses (LSS)

Youth

Focus: Guide CoC activities and standards related to serving youth and ending youth homelessness. 

Schedule: Monthly on the 3rd Monday 1-2pm starting March 17.

Chair: Andrea White (Regional Safe Harbor Navigator), Lisa Rovang (Olmsted County) 

HMIS Governing Board (shared statewide committee) 

​Focus: Provide strategic direction and decision-making in support of Minnesota’s HMIS. 

Schedule: 2nd Monday 9:30-11:30am

Co-Chairs: David Hewitt (Hennepin County) and Annie McCabe (MN DHS)

River Valleys CoC a community-based coalition dedicated to working together to prevent and end homelessness in southern Minnesota.

River Valleys CoC is also a Continuum of Care region recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the purposes of the HUD Continuum of Care funding program. The CoC's formal name with HUD is Rochester/Southeast Minnesota CoC (MN-502).
